Storage location stock exclude in Availability Check

Can we Exclude a Storage location stock for any type of Availability check.

The stock will be excluded from

1). MRP.

2). Sales order Stock.

3). Manual Production order avl stock.

Hi,

Just goto MM02 give your material & choose MRP4 view.

Enter plant & storage location.

In last tab ie storage location MRP.

Set 1 to SLoc MRP indicator.

This is master level setup & highly recommended.

Hi

This can be done in 4 ways

1.In-img-production-material requirements planningplanning-define storage location MRP per plant

For production storage location put 1----storage location stock excluded from MRP

By doing this system will not consider the production storage location qty while running the availability check

2.In MMR in the MRP 4 view there is field called storage location MARD-DISKZ

If you put your storage location there that particular storage location will not be considered in availability check

In MMR record in the MRP 4 view Sloc MRP indicator can be set for all those storage locations which you want to exclude

3.In OVZ9 there is a check box called no storage location inspection

If you tick that also that particular storage location will not be considered in availability check

4.Inimg-materials management-consumption based planning-planning---define -define storage location MRP

Here give the plant name and enter

Against every storage locations you will have indicators for excluding and including stocks

If you tick excluding that will meet your requirements
