Requirement Urgency Field

Dears,

The requirement is to put a field in PR and PO for 'Requirement urgency'. We have looked in SPRO >PR there is a field 'Requirement Urgency', however it is not coming/showing in PR (even when we set as mandatory field). Any idea or any other way to put priority field in PR and PO. Thanks.

It is Complete a Sepreate Topic of How you want to Prioritize your Orders

It is done in the Below Path COnfiguration.

SPRO> MM>GEneral Settin MM-->Requirement PRioritization.

IN this Node you have to Define

YOu have to Activate PRioritization ,then it Appears in PR and PO.

and then you have to define Were it should appear ans how you want to Prioritize.

by creating Req urgency Groups.

Organizational PRiorities ,assign Plant and SLoc,Deliveries Prioritazation, Order (CO order) Priority .

ETC... as per the requirement

I am aware of this config, however client want a field so that the User can enter manually the priority in PR. Any idea.

HI,

I really dont know your requirement ,and how you going to use it in the Further Procurement process.

But Truly ,this is good congig for the same.

But if you want as field capture for tracking and Futher Procurement process.

The Best feilds to use are Tracking Number and Requiistioner.--Which are normally used for some other Purpose.

Which can be suggested for your Purpose.and also if required can limit the entry of the Values of the same.

present in contact person TAB.

So try to use them.

and there are present in report and carry forward to PO also

If you say no to these feild,then you need to customize a feild in SE80 for the PR Program at some screen level.

you can do an ABAP enhancement on the PR/PO using functional module.
