SAP consulting is a business, whereby a company will, for a fee, provide services to another company with respect to SAP software. The services can be anything to do with SAP software: Research, design, implementation, project management, training, change management, custom software development; the list goes on and on. SAP AG and SAP America (the companies) do provide consulting services. However, the field is dominated by thousands of independent consulting companies.
SAP training is education, usually provided for a fee. It is possible to contract with a company to provide SAP training to one or more individuals. The training can cover any part of SAP's extensive software offerings. Again, SAP (the company) provides training for all of their software. In addition, there are many other independent companies who will also offer SAP training.
Many SAP CONSULTING companies will offer SAP TRAINING to their employees, in addition to offering training to their clients.
