Error code 8020 Failed to initilize langauge

Hi all,

When I try to start SBO client on server, system gives error message Error code 8020 Failed to initilize langauge.

This has started after installation of Anti virus software on the server.

I have searched the forum for this and found one thread on this but it was of year 2007 and now the note (854548) mentioned in that thread is not available in SMP.

Request to suggest the possible solutions

Hi All,

The server system was infected by virus/trojan and the concerned langauge file was detected by the anti virus and may be blocked by the anti virus.

Upon changing the setting in anti virus and restarting the server system solved the issue.

Hi,

Please check the following

1. Rename the folder SM_OBS_DLL from the temp folder

To find this folder go to Start -> Run and type %temp%

2. Uninstall the DI from the Add/Remove Programs window

3. Reboot the computer

4. Install the DI API once again

Workaround

o Close all addons

o Delete or rename the SM_OBS_DLL folder

o Reconnect to the DI API via the AddOn
