STMS Import

Hi,

We daily do imports and we just need to know which transport request is been imported by which user.

Is their any way to find it out.

what does that mean?the transports have to be imported by basis team only and no consultant should be doing it,I hope this is what is happening in your landscape

Well you can know who is doing the tranpsports by just checking the import history in that system through STMS

Thanks for the reply.

When i went into stms_import-->then goto->import history -->then it displays the request number,client into which imported,date,time,short text and only owner.

Didnt find anywhere who done the import.

Can you describe clearly where i can find that information.

stms_import-->then goto->import history -->then Menu->Edit->Display More

It will show one more column 'User' along with 'owner'

It displays tmsadm in the user field...but my userid is different and not tmsadm.

what is the procedure of importing transport requests?

Hi Rohit,

After testing in QAS and once approved by the head,the basis guys will be intimated to import and we do it.

then the user must be the basis guy only

check for all the transport requests in the import history log,is the user "tmsadm"same for all the tranport requests
