Dear friends,
what is an interim storage area and what is the transaction for that.
Thanks & Best Regards,
Balakrishna R.V
SAP Team,
Hi,
Interim Storage areas are the bridge between IM and WM.
Theses bridges ensure proper stock balance between IM and WM.
One has to have Interim storage areas to implement WM.
Hope it helps.

Before asking please search on the forum or in SAP online help:

Interim storage type serves as an interface between IM and WM. When you post a goods movement in IM the consequences (e.g. stock level increases / decreases) will appear in the interim storage type.
(e.g. GR by IM-mvt 101 > in interim storage type 902 a +quant will appear)

Hello,
First of all Mb1b will not be executed for 201 movt type
MB1A with 201 movt for cost center. For my understanding in your system 201 movt type was config for auto TO/ auto confirmation. that's why you could not able to cancel the TO. Remove the auto TO/Auto confirmation for the movt 201 and test .
thanks
