Hello friends...
Can anyone tell me what is the difference between the sales cycles if i take sales order RE and RM type.
RE- Return Sales Order
RM- Delivery Order return
Difference between them is not clear...it will be good..if explain with some example.

RE- Return order during the process of complaint for the delivered goods
RM- Delivery order return with respect to the Delivery order (Type-TAM)

You create a delivery order in the R/3 System from a pick-up sheet sent in by the customer. This can be done automatically from a pick-up sheet IDoc or manually.
The delivery order contains information detailing the material(s) to be picked up by the customeru2019s forwarding agent and the pick-up date and times. It is based on one or more scheduling agreements for delivery orders.

Returns for Delivery Orders
You can create a return for delivery order items.
When processing returns for delivery orders, note that:
u2022 The standard system contains the sales document type RM for delivery order returns. You create a return for delivery orders in the same way as a standard return.
u2022 Choose Goods issue to post goods receipt.
u2022 Cumulative quantities are not updated automatically. You must correct them manually.
