Hi All,
Our developers are looking forward to use visual composer 7.1 due to extra features it has compared to VC 7.0. Currently we are on Netweaver 7.0, Can we install Visual Composer 7.1 on Netweaver 7.0?
Thanks,
Guriq
Hi Guriq,
as Netanel mentioned it is not possible. You need an extra installation of CE in your landscape, because you also can not transport VC7.1x applications to your NetWeaver Portal 7.0. You should set up three systems of CE (dev, quality, production) and then you can use the federated portal to consume your VC7.1 applications, therefore you have to configure your CE installation as a producer portal and your NetWeaver Portal 7.0 as consumer portal.
In case you want to migrate your VC7.0 models there is a migration wizard in VC7.11, which supports the migration of VC7.0 models to VC7.11.
Best Regards,
Marcel

Hello Guriq,
Unfortunately not. 7.1 relies on other features in the 7.1 stack so you can't just deploy VC 7.1 SCAs on a 7.0 system.
