Hello all,
Following this to configure NWDI:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/44/60dc1943c2311ce10000000a155369/frameset.htm
As part of the item "Granting Initial Privileges", we are following the given link:
When referring to "4.3 Check and edit DTR Permissions", it says to open the DTR perspective and then work with the "Permissions" view.
In SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio
Version: 7.0.11
Build id: 200701062019
there is no "Permissions" view
What can one do?
TIA
You have to enable the admin plugin first. Follow [this link|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2005vp/helpdata/en/01/72a43f4aa1330ee10000000a114084/content.htm] for information about how to do it.
Hope it helps.

Hi experts !
We are using NWDS 7.11 and we have experienced the exactly same problem as Casey Harris. So we found this thread and [an other one|;, that gives this usefull URL: [http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/01/72a43f4aa1330ee10000000a114084/frameset.htm|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/01/72a43f4aa1330ee10000000a114084/frameset.htm].
But, after having renamed the XML file, we didn't see any change, and the "Permission View" choice still wasn't in the context menu...
Do you have any idea how to fix this ?
Thank you for advance,
Louis
Hi,
You should use NWDS to access the DTR.
Open NWDS ==> Open Perspective ==> Other ==> From the list Select Design Time Repository.
Then you must create a client (enter DTR URL, ...).
Once done right click anywhere in the Repository Browser of the newly created client, and click Login. Enter credentials and you will then be able to set permissions.
