Is there something like: if the field is text normalized it cannot be used in matching mode?
-Sudhir
Hi Sudhir,
In Matching mode Text Normalized fields can be used while defining Rules but the function should be
'Equals'.Text Normalized fields cannot be used with the function 'Token equals'
Text normalized fields cannot be used in Transformations.

Hi Sudhir,
I tried this and its true that Text Normalized fields are not available in Matching Mode either for creating Transformations or Rules.

Hello, reading this gives me goosebumps as SAP in one of the meetings with us has suggested to use text normalised fields for matching.
So i believe the answer to your question should be No.
but nevertheless, could you please provide the pointers where did you read this statement that you are clarifying about?

Nitin
