Looks like KM and me are not in good terms with each other:
I created a News-Form with a subject field.
When I create a news with that form, in the Display overview iview, the GUID number of the document is displayed, not the clear text subject.
Do I have to customize, which subject is key for saving?
When I use the SAP News ivwiew instead, the subjects created with the SAP form is displayed correctly.
I know it is a plain beginner question but I am lost in all that documentation.
Hi Holger
You have to set the subject as 'default:displayname' you can drag and drop it into you propery on the XML form.
We had a similar problem and realised that the edit, show and RenderListitem subject should have been the same.
Hope this helps?

Hi,
In your xml-form, open System properties choose name and assign it to subject field.
After that when you see subject properties you should see:
/Properties/default:displayname
Now, when you save a new news, this field will be the xml file name.
