Opening period in Recurring Inspection

Any one can explain me about the opening period in Recurring Inspection?

Dear Arun

I think you are refering to Initial run in days in QA07.

For eg 1 - you have materials whose next interval inspection date ( recurring inspection date) or the expiry date falls on 05 .05.2009 to 20 .05.2009

in QA07 if you input initial run in days as 30 days and you run QA07 today ie 30.04.2009 ,

whatever material whose next inspection date or expiry date falls between 30.04.2009 to 30.05.2009 are taken .

So the material mentioned in eg 1 will get effected and lot will get created based on the action you have defined.
