Hello Gurus,
Could somebody give the tips, for the right transactions and also the steps in order to create the multilevel categorization? I have to "model" it in 4 levels, like this:
Level 1 - First dropdown
Cat 1
Cat 2
Cat 3
Dependending on the dropdown choice of the level 1, the second level appears:
Level 2 for Cat 1 - Second dropdown
Cat 1.1
Cat 1.2
Level 3 for Cat 1.1 - Third dropdown
Cat 1.1.1
Cat 1.1.2
Cat 1.1.3
and so on...
How do I do to create all this stuff? What are the transactions?
thanks guys,
Santosh
Hi Santosh
What version of CRM are you referring to?

Hi Santosh
We did this for Service Tickets so your basis steps are.
1: SPRO -> IMG -> CRM -> Basic Functions -> Catalogs, Codes & Profiles -> Define Code Group Profiles
I used Catalog C1 and assign my set of Categories here.
Then create a Code Group
2: SPRO -> IMG -> CRM -> Basic Functions -> Catalogs, Codes & Profiles -> Define Subject Profile
Create a subejct profile and assign your new code group to it.
3:Assign the subject Profile to your transaction.
4: For the relevant IC Agent Business Role, add Function Profile: Categorization and add you Categorization profile there.
5: Launch the Category Modeler from the IC Manager profile. Create your Schema with reference to your subject profile. Create your hierarchies based on the Catalogs and Codes you've created
Release and save the new schema.
It's been a while since I last created one but this is the basic steps.
If you get stuck let me know.

Hi,
Four levels will not come automatically on the page. for this you need following setting:
Interaction Center WebClient -> Business Transactions ->Define Categorization Profiles
1. Create your Categorization Profiles
2. In Categorization Contexts : there is ctxt. ID CO, ST.
a) Double click on this.
b) In Hierarchy Levels define your Level i.e 4
3. Assign this profile to your profile in Define IC WebClient Profiles
4. Create Category Modeler
5. Values (In dropdown) will appear as you have maintained in category modeler.
Hope this answers your query.

Hi Ankush,
I am also facing an issue with categorization can you please tell me under Interaction Centre Web client- Business transactions- Define Categorization Profiles
1) There is a standard categorization default which exists when I click on categorization contexts i can see CO, ST, IR, CA, I have gone and clicked on complaint and the hierarchy level there is 4.
2) Where do I assign this default to? You have said to your profile in Default IC Webclient Profiles there is already a default existing under default business transaction profiles.
3) Where do I create a category modeler?
Kind Regards
Atul
