InfoProvider for query

I have a query which is located from the roles tab using BEx Analyzer. How can I find out details on the InfoProvider? Thanks

hi,

do you mean you want to know which infoprovider that query retrieve data ?

table RSRREPDIR field COMPID is the query technical name and INFOCUBE is the infoprovider.

or change the query (global) in bex analyzer, you will get the infoprovider name.

Hello,

other than the above methods,

when you go to open queries in the Bex analyser and select(click on) query say from Favourites, click the properties on/off(the last icon in the tool bar of this window) before cliking "OK".

the properties will list the infoprovider name.

Hi Niten, Also you can find out the datatarget technical name from the tcode - rsrt using a query.
