Problem with Desktop Intelligence

Hi Experts,

We are just installing the Business Objects. when i was connecting to the universe with web intelligence it is connecting and when i was connecting through desktop intelligence it is giving error.

could you please help me in this issue.

What kind of error ?

Can you import same universe in designer on the same machine as your Deski ?
