NWDS 7.1 compatible with ESS 600?

Do I need to use NWDS 7.0 with ESS 600? Or should I be using NWDS 7.1? If NWDS 7.0, where can I find the system requirements including the JDK needed? Thanks!

Is there any advantage to using 7.1 over 7.0? I thought I had read that 7.1 requires JDK 1.5+. Thanks.

I don't know anything about ESS 6.00. But if this software runs on a 7.0 server, you have to use a 7.0 NWDS for compiling and deploying.

A NW 7.1 NWDS will generate code that cannot be run on a 7.0 server.

You can use both NWDS 7.0 or 7.1 for ESS 600.....Basically you need to have Windows XP ,2 GB RAM for NWDS.....for JDK you can go for j2sdk 1.4.2_19

and specify it's path as JAVA_HOME variable......
