How I know how many user are logged in R/3 and portal?

Hi,

I want to know how many users are logged in the portal and R/3 (GUI). For example.... I know if I go to the transaction SM04 I can see the users that are logged by the GUI and portal but I need to know the amount of users that are logged... in the two ways... (portal and GUI) and the SM04 only give me the amount per application and in production I have more than one application server. In the AL08 transaction I know that I can see all the users that are logged in the system but I can't see over there how many are logged using the portal and how many are using the GUI.

To know how many users login to Portal, you need to login to EP with administrator privillages and navigate to user administration-->>> click on activity reports. It will give you the users list.

Hi,

In R/3 you can use SM04/AL08.

Where as in portal.

First login into to Portal as Administrator

Select System Administration -> Support -> WebDynpro Test Tools(which is on Left side) -> User Management

Scroll it down to end you can find Currently active users List.

U can check it from EWZ5 from ABAP & also u can check in UME search for the users by selecting data sources
