OM17 for Product Location

Hi All,

I am running product Location consistency in OM17. In the results I got few inconsistencies. In the result system does not give product/location name instead it gives pegging area ID. for E.g. "IVLIV57s0h}X0800Av4pk0". I would like to know how can I find for which product/location there is inconsistency from pegging area? Is there any table where this relationship is maintained?

Hi Harshil Desai

by following steps described in below, you can find out product name and location name.

go to se16, and find out record by using pegkey guid in table /SAPAPO/PEGKEY

Here you can find out matid, locid.

So find out record in following two table by using matid and locid.

Table /sapapo/matkey (contain product name)

Table /sapapo/loc (contain location name)

Hi Harshil,

Looks like there is inconsistencies in pegging area please try running report /SAPAPO/DM_PEGKEY_REORG

The pegging areas are automatically deleted if they are no longer required for requirements, stocks or receipt

elements. If the pegging areas are still required, the affected location products are listed in the log.

Hi Harshil,

You can use :Product Allocation Assignment table /SAPAPO/PAGZE001 .

PAG-Z001 Product Allocations: Characteristic Value* This table is generated when a Product Allocation Group is defined. Use it to convert the GUID into a CVC.

Than run the report /SAPAPO/SDORDER_DEL to fix it.

Thanks a lot every one for all your help but I am not able to get details for pegging area that I am getting in OM17.

I tried in /sapapo/pegkey

/sapapo/ac05

/sapapo/om16 but no entries found.

OM17 results giving details,

for E.g.

Planning Version:000

Message Text: Entry only in Live Cache

Pegging Area: IVX0r0q30VNX0800Av4pTG

Return Code: 0

Hello Harshil,

For checking in the transaction /sapapo/om16, please ensure that you paste the pegging area GUID under the 'Peg Areas' tab by clicking on the 'Multiple Selection' option (arrow pointing right).

This is so because if you paste it directly in the text box against pegging area guid, the guid gets truncated and thus the system is unable to read the details from the livecache.

Please try this out. You should be able to fetch the details from the livecache.

Hello Harshil,

were you able to figure out the PEG area IDs from OM17 product location. I am getting the same issue mentioned in this thread.

I tried PEGKEY table, AC05 t.code but no use.

problem is even after running remove inconsistencies , they will re appear again with similar numbers in last Om17 run.

please let me know if you have found the solution to this issue.
