Hi!

I successfully installed SAP system via system copy with SAPINST.

Which reports, tcodes, etc. should I run as post installation steps?

(Especially for planing/scheduling of jobs, change of logical system names, delete/truncate old DB table entires)?

Thank you very much!

regards

Jürgen

You run BTCTRNS1 to put jobs to suspended/Scheduled status.

BTCTRNS2 to put them to original status.

I would better suggest not to use the reports:

1. Go to SM37,put job name as *,user name as *,select the status as scheduled, released, ready and select the time period from last month to next 1 month and execute

Now all the jobs willl come, select all the jobs in sm37 screen,go to Jobs and change the status to schedule,it will be ok

after that select the status as active and cancel all the jobs

2. Dont reschedule standard SAP jobs, just go to SM36 and schedule all the standard SAP jobs

Tcode SE38-->BTCTRANS1 and BTCTRANC2 ,when first of them is utilized before copy or upgrade, only then the second one is to be executed after copy or upgrade, so those need not to be run here.

do SM37 and SM36 as said in posts

After making a copy of PRD back to supporting systems (QA, etc.) the production servers are still listed in ST03n, even after deleting the contents of the tables listed in the system copy guide (MONI, OSMON, ALSYSTEMS, etc.). Where is this information stored in NW04s (ECC 6) and can it be cleared from SE14 just after a system copy? Is it just in the SAPWLSERV? If I remove all tables, will the current system (QA) servers be added back after running the performance collector?

Thank you in advance.
