EHP 4 for SAP ERP 6.0 /7.0 features

Hi,

we are using the above( EHP 4 for SAP ERP 6.0 /7.0 ) mentioned component version.

But we are not getting sorting icons beside the column names in an ALV table.

few days back Enhancement pack applied in our system.after that only, we are not getting these icons.

Why we are not getting these sorting icons...any reason?

If you went to ERP Enhancement Package 4; you actually upgraded your NetWeaver ABAP Application Server from release 7.0 to release 7.01 (NetWeaver Enhancement Package 1). This is a very significant change for Web Dynpro ABAP, as a whole new version of the HTML/JavaScript renderer was introduced at the release level. The new renderer is called Lightspeed. You might also be using the new sap_tradeshow_plug theme which brings the latest Signature visual design to your applications.

In the updated visual design, the sort icons no longer appear on the table headers themselves when no sorting has been applied. Instead the mouse icon changes to represent that sorting is possible:

Only after you apply a sort, does the icon appear to indicate the sort type:
