Milestone Billing - Fixed Value and %

Experts - I'm looking to find a best way to configure the following scenario in Milestone billing plan without project systems.

For example , Sales order Amount 10000(Any value), 1st installment would be 2000 due immediatly and balance due on 01.08.2008.Is user exit the only option to propose dates and calculate the balance or any other solution to configure.

Billing date Billing Value

System date 2000

01.08.2008 Balance Due(Order price -2000)

you can have different schedules , so that we can create delivery and billing on the due date .

Hi Solomon

This is quite possible in milestone billing. Create two line item in milestone billing one as Downpayment with any fix amount Or % (in your case 2000 or 20%) and put that date as today's date.

In second line item put the date as 2 months from now or anything. and make it as 80%.

It will solve tour problem. Make a reference of this so that in every order these settings will copy automatically.
