Milestone Billing - Fixed Value and %

Experts - I'm looking to find a best way to configure the following scenario in Milestone billing plan without project systems.

For example , Sales order Amount 10000(Any value), 1st installment would be 2000 due immediatly and balance due on 01.08.2008.Is user exit the only option to propose dates and calculate the balance or any other solution to configure.

Billing date Billing Value

System date 2000

01.08.2008 Balance Due(Order price -2000)

Your can u plz clear that, down payment is fixed value or will it be on % basis.

you can maintain it in ref billing plan.when you maintain date proposal for billing plan, there is no need for user exit.

Hi Ravi- Thanks for your reply, Down payment will be fixed value of 2000.I've tried using date proposal for billing plan, and stuckup to find the solution to configure the system date as a billing date for the 1st line item and Balance due amount in Billing value of second line item in billing plan section.Can you please assist.

Hi,

you can control first billing date as todays date in spro settings,

spro>SD> BILLING-->Billing plan --> Maintain date proposal for billing plan types.

select your billing plan and go to details, there in start date field you need to maintain option as '01'.

To propose always same % and date intervals, date discriprions and billing blocks, when you create sales order(Milestone), you need to maintain details in the reference billing plan number.
