Dears,

1. Can you simply advise us how to define the MRP traffic lights (say we want indication if the material is available for 45 days or less).

2. What are the settings required for this in MM01/02.

3. Why the materials is showing in MD04 if that is available. (Can we prevent in showing in MD04 if the material is available).

Thanks.

Hi,

The traffic light values (red, yellow, green) indicate how urgently materials need to be processed. Red traffic lights immediately indicate that the appropriate materials are critical and urgently need to be processed. The traffic light display is controlled by ranges of coverage and exception groups. As standard, a red traffic light is displayed when the days' supply, receipt days' supply 1, or receipt days' supply 2 are less than or equal to zero, or when an exception message for group 8 is displayed. You can define the traffic light for material planner, in order to inform them when they should check the available stock to order other quantities in advance. Refer to the following address:

As to material master data, you needn't to define extra parameters, you only need to Define Receipt Elements for Receipt Days' Supply in IMG, it's okay!

For the third point, I don't think it's necessary not to show the available parts!

Good luck
