hi
can anyone explain in detail what is the difference between production order and process order
as far as the production planning of process industry,basically steel and mining industry is concerned.

Hi,
Production Order:- Can be used for Discrete manufacturing
Process Order:- Can be used for Process industries like Chemical, Food and Pharmaceuticals
instead of routings we can use Receipes here and also having PI sheets
