Request not reading from DEV to PRD Queue.

Hi all,

We are running with Aix 5.3 & ORC 10.2.

Generally if any request is released a datafile & cofiles are generated in our Dev system & if we want to import the same to PRD we execute STMS_IMPORT & & refresh , therefore a copy is generated in PRD datafile & cofiles & we import in PRD once it is available in queue.

But apparently i am facing the this error & cant manage to trace where exactly the problem is ./

The following is the log when i am trying to import.

RFC system error in system/destination %%ashost=athomeprd,sysnr=00,lang=E,client=900,pcs=

Message no. XT107

Diagnosis

An error occurred during RFC communications.

Target system: RT2.DOMAIN_RT1(900)

Function: TMS_TP_MAINTAIN_BUFFER

RFC message:connection closed (no data)

System Response

The function terminates.

Procedure

Correct the error on the whole system and execute the command again.

But as noticed all my RFCs are fine using Generate RFC conections.

Also no issues with TMSADM & reconfigured STMS as well.

Please advice on this.

Hi Eric & all, just thought of sharing quick glance properly as some one might come through this issue.

I have pasted the error logs from trans/log (SLOG0918.RT2) from the following file.

Please also see where where i have highlighted RT2.LOB , TC090429.RT2 & one more SLOG file from

removed trans/tmp directory to overcome the issue.

Please also see if any TP processes are running to generate this logs also kill them as well.

Well, It has been resolved & there are some files generated ex- S904023.LOG.OLD & some other files generated with todays time stamp. I have removed all of them.

Did a refresh in STMS_IMPORT & it started working fine.

Followed SAP NOTE 12746

Thank you all for the replies.

I would suggest you to check RFCs via SM59? You can do all the tests through utilities.
