SU0 Timezone

Hi Expert,

What is the impact of allowing user to change the timezone via SU0? Is there an impact to the documented posted? Should we allow user to change timezone in the first place? Thanks.

Example: If a user choose to set timezone to say UTC8 (different as the system time UTC-8), other than the display time will be in UTC8, are there any transaction data that will be posted under UTC+8?

you should not allow user to change the time zone,the system must run in only one time zone whatever it may be.

The issue can appear in the transaction data

I think in SU01 you can change the time as per user's timezone. This will be important in global SAP implementations. Rohit, correct me if I am wrong?
