Hi Dev,

WM comes under logistic execution and not SCM.

Major SCM modules are MM, PP, SD etc.. whereas Shipping, WM, etc.., are additional sub modules which make the SCM modules complete.

Regards,

Keerthi.

Hi,

In SAP WM module comes under LE .If you want to get certify then you have to appear for LE certification. LE includes shipping ,HUM, inbound & outbound process.

As correctly mentioned by one expert SCM also called as Logistics.Domain wise SCM or Logistics covers procurement to delivery of finish goods to customer.

Please check SAP site for more information.

Prashant

WM lies under SCM or LE?

Both (As for SAP terminology, LE is under SCM that's why your question makes no sense).

SCM: Supply Chain Management that means logistics. It would be interesting if WM would not be part of SCM / Logistics. As for SAP terminology, you can find WM trainings (e.g.):

- SCM630 - Warehouse Management - mySAP Supply Chain Management

- SCM601 - Processes in Logistics Execution - mySAP ERP Procurement and Logistics Execution

LE: Please check SAP easy access menu and SPRO and you will get answer for your question.

Csaba

Transportation and WM are a part of LE.SCM is a combination of procurement, inbound, outbound and distribution activities which involves a lot of modules as said by keerthi.
