How to attachm a pdf document in sales order in background

I need to attach a pdf document in sales order in background.

Can anyone guide me on this?

you can use Generic object services for this purpose

put a google search or SDN search for generic object services

Hi,

I am able to attach a document in sales order now.

Now the error is the 'file has been damaged' while opening in VA03.

Can anyone rectify the error ?

hi thiyagu,

what is the error you are getting

while opening the file attached

because some times what happens is even after the deletion of the file

the file can be viewed in the attachment list

probably this file could have been deleted.

it can removed from the list permanently using srgbtel i guess that has be mentioned in my previous reply

Hello Janagar,

Pdf file is not at the desktop to attach using GOS.

Pdf file is at Document Management System, requirement is to attach it to the sales order item.

Note: DMS file can be always allowed to attach at item level.Please dont bring GOS concept here.

It can be done manually via VA02 --> Extras --> Documents.

I need to automate the above process.
