hi vijay

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_bw31/helpdata/en/52/1ddc37a3f57a07e10000009b38f889/content.htm https://websmp105.sapag.de/~sapidb/011000358700008387152002 Multicubes/Multi Providers are performance healthy due to the fact that it provides more flexibility to retrive data, in different ways, and at the same time retrive it faster coz it does it by hitting the cube directly than going thru Dimension and SID tables. It is a just a physical structure not a physical storage of data The number of base InfoProviders of a Multiprovider is not more than 10 As a general rule of thumb, we recommend up to 10 Sub-InfoProviders, that are assigned to a MultiProvider and that are accessed simultaneously for one query; if you use more than this, the overhead in combining results might get too big. (Of course, depending on system resources and configuration, more than 10 Sub-InfoProviders can still result in good performance) .we can view data in multiprioviders not only in reporting level but as in normal cube.
