Hown can I extend the idoc segment E1KOMG. This segment belongs to idoc type COND_A02.

hi Abel,

you cannnot extend the segment but you can create custom segmnet and add the segemntunder the E1KOMG.


Define segments: WE31                 "create custom segmenet
Create new basic idoc type: WE30 "create a idoc with extension and a copy of COND_A02and ad the custom segment under the E1KOMG..
Link message type to IDOC basis type: WE82 "create  another copy of link with extension..


go to we57 and see the message type and idoctype and function module linked to it..

and find the proper user exit for Idoc type COND_A02 by going into FM..

and fill the custom segemnt you created..
