I had our software support folks install Xcelsius 2008 a while back and I ran into some bugs in the app while developing. Installed the service pack and up to fix pack 3 and the old bugs went away. Got some newer erratic behaviour showing up so I wanted to go back to the original install version (old bugs were ones I could live with, new ones weren't) but the uninstall prompts for the original install cd which doesn't seem to mesh with the fix pack version I have installed now. Tried doing a reinstall over the top of the application which it seemed to like but now the app won't launch at all. I get the following...
AppName: xcelsius.exe
AppVer: 5.1.3.0
ModName: xcelsius.exe
ModVer: 5.1.3.0
Offset: 00179362
Any ideas? I would be happy if I could just uninstall it and start from scratch with a new install. I guess thats why I am asking if there is a uninstall utility available somewhere.
It is probably easier to just delete the C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Xcelsius folder and installing again...
