To extract the results of an R3 query to BW.

hi all,

i need to run a report in R3.

the result of this report ,i need to extract to BW.

how do i achieve this?

In APD,i can only extract BW queries not R3 Queries.

Any help appreciated!

Dear Dhanya,

As Mr. Reddy pointed out: You could export the R3 data

to a flat file and load that file into BW data target.

OR alternatively:

1) If your R3 query is a SAP Query...then you can create

a generic datasource using RSO2...that pulls data

from your query.

2) on BW side: Replicate Datasource, assign to

Infosource, InfoPackage --> Schedule etc....

3) From the BW data target then you can take it to your

APD ( or APO??).

Hi,

Run the report in R/3 and store the data in .CSV file and then load the data from file to BW. or Find is there any option to send the data to any temp table after running the report and then load the data from that table to BW using Genaric datasource.
