Hello Gurus
I dont know where to put this question exactly, but this forum is full of very techical people, so i think this is the best, correct me if im wrong.
I have been charged with the installation of a CRM 2007 on a ESX server, the server is installed and working fine.
The esx, however is a bit oversized, actually there are 8 quad-core physical cpu´s actually the use is about 5%
The vitual machine that runs the CRM has 2 virtual cpus created, ¿will it benefit from adding more virtual cpus? ¿how much?
¿Any note on the best configuration of the settings for the Virtual machine?
Thank you for your imput.

That's good.

How much do you need?
Usually it's done this way:
- you have a business case for a certain software product
- you contact your preferred vendor to do a sizing with you (http://service.sap.com/quicksizer)
- the quicksizer will result in a number of SAPS
- your vendor will offer you a machine which can handle that number of SAPS (or a virtual instance)
¿Any note on the best configuration of the settings for the Virtual machine?
