Hi Gurus
I went thro the threads for this topic but would like to understand that
1.how it is useful for data loading and during which stage we can use this option?
2.is it good to use for transfer rules or for update rules?( i know on details tab u can set it but would like to know the cxact benefit and stage where we use this option in data loading)
3. Can we add it in process chain ? if yes where and how ?
4. Is it a SAP std practice to use this debug option ? and who usually do it in real world, ABAP person or BW consultant?
pl advise
Ketal,
Just a few thoughts
As you know from the details tab , under Processing (data packet) right click on
Data package You will see the options for Activating Debugging in transfer rules and update rules as well.
You could simulate for all records in the data package or you can select particular records.
You can use these options after you laod data and you can chwck how its processed.
I dont think so you can do it in Process chain.
Debugging doesnt require much ABAP skill; SAP BW Consultant can do it with ease
