Create Internal address (table ADRC)

Hiya,

I have created an internal address (alternative ship to address) with transaction BBPADDRINTC.

When I see this in table ADRC, two records have been created for this 1 address, each with a unique address number. The record each have a different Address Group (field addr_group) as one entry has BP (business partner) and the other has BBP1 (manual document address).

Please, what is the difference between Address Group BP and BBP1 and the importance? By default, does SRM 5.0 always enter 2 entries in ADRC per internal address and is this performance correct?

warmest regards,

Pooja Kaur.

Hi

you are very correct.

BBP1 - is manually you entered address. for eg. you create a sc and you entered manually ship to address ao this address recorded as BBP1 .

ADRC - ADDR_GROUP value BBP1 manually entered .

other wise it picked from address which already maintained. for eg. you can monitor the business document addresses entered by manually by the user or fixed value.
