Hi all,

Regarding GCTR Transaction type - Distribution : In backend (R/3) GCTR -document type needs to be created. On what basis GCTR needs to be create in R/3. While creating GCTR in R/3 which one we need consider whether "MK , WK or DC" (Quantity , value or distributed )?

Normally copy exists one (MK ,WK or DC) and create the contract (GCTR)

Thanks

Harish

Hi

GCTR can be a value contract or quantity contract so depending up on the client requiremetn you have to create a copy of it.

In all the Back end system number ranges would be external for GCTR doc types.

Hi thanks for your replay,

Is it possible to transfer value and Quantity in same time to R/3?

Thanks

Any other suggestions?

Requirement might be both either Quantity or value . On what basis we create a document type GCTR in R/3.

Thanks

We can't say what the basis is, that's something the business people have to tell you for whom you are doing the customising.

However, why don't you use the BADI BBP_CTR_BE_CREATE and then you can select your own backend type based on the data in the contract.

Thanks for your promt reply,

Let us say if i want to distribute both at a time (QTY/Value), which document type is suitable ( which one to copy (MK ,WK or DC) and create GCTR)
