Classification screen in Material Master

Hi Friends,

Can we make classification screen at plant level. Because, I want to maintain Batch Management at 1001 plant and for 1002 plant, I want to maintain split valuation. So if i have created batch in 1001, this data is copying to 1002 plant. So can we make classification screen at plant level?

The classification screen in MM01/MM02/MM03 transaction cannot be made plant specific.

This screen is just there for the general classification at MARA level.

However, it is possible to create plant specific classification via customizing and the standard classification transactions.

But why do you need to have values for valuation type in the classification that is already stored in the in the batch record itself?

It is not possible to maintain a plant at classifacation view in material master. There is no option.

In material master plant is maintained at organisational level.

hi,

if u extend the material for a specific plant for classification view, then it will be available for that specific plant only.
