Creation of WBS

Hi all,

I have created a WBS Element from CJ20N by right click on WBS & copy the same.

For Ex:- WBS01

I hv copied this and created WBS02

Now i cant see WBS01 & also i m trying to create WBS01 again system giving error WBS01 already exists in version RELEASED.

I hv checked in table PRPS but no entry found with name WBS01.

Pls. help me for the same.

Hi,

Your message is that WBSE is created in Version released.I think you are working on project versions.

Please explain in detail.

Hi ,

Can u explain the steps. I am able to copy the WBS but hw to paste it. I tried with selcting Project defintion ight clik and Insert. but system didnt deleted previous WBS. It worked finely.

just check this in CJ20N from the header menu Settings > options > tick on disply deleted objects check whether WBS deleted or wht ?

Hi,

1) Run the T.code CJ20N,

2) Open the project,

3) Open WBS Element under that project - i.e. WBS01

4) Right click on it & copy the same.

5) on right hand screen change the WBS - i.e EBS02

6) Save it

As soon as you save the WBS02, WBS01 is disappered from the WBS list. When we r trying to create the same no. WBS i.e. WBS01 than system is giving the error msg.

A WBS element with the name WBS01 already exists in version RELEASED.

but when we use it at the time of FI entry than system giving the error msg :- WBS element WBS01 does not exist.

Pls. help for the same.
