Hello all,
Just installed ECC 6.0 and am working on registering J2EE items so tha they will be accessessible from the ABAP stack
(following this link: https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/60b4036e-ebee-2b10-e29f-bace1404... )
The following was done;
1. start Visual Administrator -> Cluster : Chose JCo RFC Provider
2. Created SAPSLDAPI_<SID> with the following:
Program ID: SAPSLDAPI_KXE
Gateway host: nala
Gateway service: sapgw30
Server Count 3
Application Server Host: nala
System Number: 30
Client: 000
Language: EN
User: SAPJSF
Password: how can one check this? Is it set during the installation - right?
3. Hit the Start Button and get the following error:
Error starting bundle, see LOG for details!
Question:
How do I see the log?? Where is it?
TIA

Hello all,
Thanks for the responses.
Juan,
Where can one find the trace files (or error files) for the J2EE stack?
Uday,
I went to SU01 and saw SAPJSF defined there. I believe the password is assigned whenever one does the ECC 6.0 install. I have been using it. Even if it is wrong, I am a little leery to change it for fear of any "side effects" that may pop up.
TIA
I also had the saem problem the user was locked in that client SLDAPIUSER.
Just for your info.
Mike

Hello all,
I think I found the files and am following them to see if I can find a reason for the problem.
Uday, I think you may be right. The default client is 001 and I have entered 000. Have assigned points but will try this out.
TIA

Hi Everyone,
Error typically is thrown when there is an issue with the user connecting to the backend client. Always check:
- user exist in backend client
- user password is productive - no password change is required or password locked ...
- user has corresponding roles assigned
- if use has no roles assigned you will always get this error
Best regards,
Ilian
