Unable to display the Roles page

Hi All,

I just completed a fresh installation of EP 6.0 SR1 (on Win 2003 Server, Oracle DB, Web AS 6.40).

The EP seems to working fine but for the Roles page. When ever I go to User Administration -- and then go to Roles - there seems to be a problem I get a message <b>Internet Explorer cannot open the internet site http://xxx:50000/irj/portal/- operation aborted</b>

Could you please let me know what could be wrong and your help is appreciated

Hi Luke,

The Roles page doesnt open in Internet Explorer for SR1.

Its a known issue with SAP.

Try opening the roles page in the Mozilla Browser. It works perfectly fine.

Hi,

I remember facing the same problem, we upgraded to the next patch level it worked fine. I think SR1 is SP9, try upgrading it to SP10.

May be you can try it out.
