I am a Basis Consultant having 4+ years of experience...Now I am planning to learn MDM
Please Suggest me how it would help me..what is the scope for MDM..
Can any one send me good material on MDM.

Hi Dinesh,
As SAP-MDM is picking up the pace in the market, we will find plenty of MDM projects in near future. You being a Basis consultant, it would be nice if you understand the basics of MDM. This would help you get into the Basis activities of MDM.
Apart from this, you want to get into MDM completely, frankly speaking it would not be that helpful for you as you will be loosing on your valuable experience. However, you can definitely get into Basis related activities by understanding the installations, upgrades and maintenance. And then you can move into Lead roles in MDM projects using your prior experience as you will then understanding the functionalities of MDM.

SAP MDM is one of the best technologies to work on currently.
Since, you already come from a SAP background, its good.
For learning you can start off by going through the guides on the 4 GUI's of SAP MDM. Simultaneously, hands on are very important.
