Alternate Column color

Is there any way in a Webi report to set the color of alternate columns as we can currently do for rows?

The option in Java Panel is named as " Alternate Row/Column colors" but this does not work for columns.

Hi,

There is a Workaround for the Alternate Column Colo using alerter option

Create an Alerter using the below formula:-

=Mod(ColumnNumber();2) in the formula option

and provide Background color and the text color as required.

Hi Madhu, alerters can only be applied to one column at a time. I'm not sure this will work. You did this before?

The requirement is for XI 3.1 and some of these reports have >40 columns.

Hi George,

We tried this at our end and we are able to apply alternate colors using alerter but need to select each and every column individually to enable alerter.

We have tested the issue on BOXI3.0.

Hi Madhu, that's we are trying to avoid, selecting each column separately. In that case it would be much easier to just change the background color of each column.

May I know how one can select column in table??

Try like this::

Create separate block for the columns which you want alternate color and place it relative to rest of the table.

Hope this helps you...

P.S: It possible for cross tab type only.
