Non-input-ready column is going input-ready

Hallo,

i have an input-ready query in a workbook.

The Query consists some key figures in the lines. The columns are:

- one for values created by a planning function called "projected" and

- one additional column for manual planning of the key figures calles "manual".

In addition, there are 2 variables:

- Calmonth (for a start-month) and

- another Character for "month of projection" (also based on calmonth)

When i choose the variables 01/2008 as calmonth and projection end 12/2008, i get the automatic calculated values (which already exists in the infocube) in the automatic column and i can type in values in the manual-column. That is fine and is working for all combinations of the variables calmonth and projection end.

But when i choose the variables 11/2008 and 12/2008 or 12/2008 and 12/2008 the manual column is still input-ready, but now the automatic-column is also! input-ready! Thats wrong.

In the query definition, the "automatic"-column is explizit set as "not input-ready".

How can that be?

Thank you in advance.

Regards.

p.s. System is BI-IP 7.0.

Hi,

This is a very uncommon error and I am exactly not sure why this is happening. however, you could close the executed query to avoid any lock and can work on a new session.

This might be due to the reason that:

For Standard Infocube the read mode is always 0 and for Real time InfoCube is 1. Even if the mode is switched back to 0, the mode switch back to 1 automatically when a plan and reporting query run in same environment.

Hope this helps !!
