Default Clients in ECC 6.0 IDES

Hi all,

I have installed R/3 4.7 IDES and ECC 6.0 SR1 IDES in two seperate systems...

For R/3 4.7 i got 800, 801 and 802 clients....so i have confirmed that its IDES ...

But For ECC 6.0, i didnt get and 800 client, only 000, 001 and 066 are installed...How to know whether its IDES or NON - IDES????

After R/3 4.7 versions if we install any IDES systems shall we not get 800 clinets???

Iam not sure but as far i know LABEL.ASC doesn't provide any information about Ideas or non-ideas information

Hi

Unable to find the labels you have provided i think ECC 6.0 SR1 IDES is no more available in market place,difficult to say btw What is the size of the total export DVD'S.Export labels contains more data if it is ideas version

hi,

ECC 6.0 IDES will come with 3 to 4 clients of 800 series like 800, 803 etc.

IDES has differnt Installation master DVD and Exports DVDs than normal ECC 6.0 product.

please have a look at the software lebles and let me know whether its IDES or NON - IDES..

51031613 -- oracle 10g client

51031678 - oraclw 10g

51031693 - java exports

51031778 - kernel

51031797 - inst. master

51031798 - export1

51031798 - export2

51031807 - Java components

Will any of the label.asc files conatin info. whether its IDES or NON-IDES????????

As already mentioned, you probably installed the AS-Java instance not the ABAP and the Java instance does not have any sample data so you will have to uninstall that instance or install also ABAP instance. You could tell by the Database size because ABAP instance takes around 200 Gb and Java is around 50Gb.

As per the note 1244548

The IDES package contains the following component: SAP ERP 6.0 ECC 6.0 SR3 - unicode

It is the ABAP-AS which contains the data of the model company in client 800

R u sure that you have installed ECC6 ides version can you provide us the software labels you have used
