HI I haven't done much with the basic connecting to the database. In Oracle only and it was done for me.
I am logging remotely to a SQL Server 2005.
Server Type: Database Engine
Server Name: Testserver\SQL 2005
I am making the connection via ODBC and am getting to some of the Great Plains tables so I guess that is the way.
try going into file / options, then select the database tab and check every box under the data explorer and make sure that there are no values in the Table Name like and Owner like.
If you log into the SQL 2005 via the query analyzer what do you see?
