Xcelsius 2008 empty / missing data connection Ranges

-Crystal Xcelsius 2008 (v 5.1.3, build 12,1,3,495)

-Business Objecte Enterprise 3.1 with Fix Pack 1.3 applied

-Live Office: v 12.1.3.1028

-Excel 2003

When creating a connection using a Live Office document, the 'Ranges' window is empty.

-This example was against a Live Office doc that imported a WebI report part.

-WebI doc is against efashion.

Steps for Reconstruction

-In Xcelsius and select Data>Connections>Live Office Connections

-Select connection and Ranges is empty

Do you have the correct session url, something like:

http://<YouServer>:8080/dswbobje/services/session

Yes...the URL is correct.

Data ranges show if we set the data manager to use a web service. Just does not like LO.

Strange. It should find the WebI parts. Can you re-import the LO spreadsheet, and delete and re-add the LO connections?
