EHP1 installation Waiting for synchronization event INFO=FINISHED

We are applying EHP1 to our NW 7.0 BI system.During configuration roadmap phase for J2EE, installer is stuck on Phase GETSYNC_INFO_FINISHED. Phase status is "Phase GETSYNC_INFO_FINISHED is running ..." and at the bottom installer displays message "Sun Apr 26 23:53:15 UTC 2009:

Waiting for synchronization event INFO=FINISHED"

No further action is happening and unable to interpret this log information, we stopped and started installer again, but stuck again at the same point, not sure if it is issue with our system or EHP

installer. Can you please help in this regards?

Did you try with SAINT?

I haven't tried with SAINT, started with EHPi only, now can not abort EHPi installer and start SAINT.

Resolution: It is bug in EHPi tool.

Workaround:

Edit the file EHPIsdtdataSDTRequestListEvents.xml in directory

.../EHPI/sdt/data and change the following row:

<SDTEvent fired="true" requestId="ABAP">INFO=FINISHED</SDTEvent>

After that restart the tool and continue with the installation.

Note: Please make sure you make the backup of the file before editing

it.
