TO in bulk storage

Hi all!

I am trying to create a To in a bulk storage, but in this, I have an storage unit type PI, and know, I want to create a TO for a PI storage type unit.

The system shows me the messje error:

Storage unit type PE not compatible with current block definition

Message no. L3425

Diagnosis

The storage unit type of the first storage unit to be put away

determines how many storage units can be put away in one storage bin. If

a storage unit with a different storage unit type is put away in this

storage bin and the maximum number of storage units per block is the

same as the first unit, then the system allows this.

In this case, the storage unit type of the storage unit to be put away

is not the same as the storage unit type of the existing storage unit.

Therefore, the definition of the maximum number of storage units per

block is different.

Procedure

Put this storage unit away in a different storage bin.

But I need to put the storage type in the same storage bin.

Hi,

Please check wheather your bin is blocked or unblocked.Also see what bin type is assigned against the storage unit type.I believe the bin type is wrong there and hence the system is not able to get the right storage type in Search bin strategy.

Hi

Check the SUT in LE -> WM -> Strategies -> Putaway stratregies -> Define Strategy for Bulk Storage -> Block Structures

Also Check the number of SU's allowed into the storage type

The maximum number of SUu2019s allowed is to be increased try to take stock out and get it in again with increased capacity.

Try as below

First cancel the Inventory document.

Then take stock out of the Storage bin to another bin

Now move the stock back to the same bin

This should increase the storage capacity

Thanks a lot.

But the problem is not realetde to the number of storage unit allowed, in this case, is related to the different storage unit type allowed.

Do you know where can I customice that?
