Make menu collapsible

There is often not enough horizontal screen space available, for example when displaying forum posts. I therefore suggest to make the menu on the left of the content area collapsible.

Additionally, I suggest to move the search area to the upper right of the content area. This seems to be the standard location for a search field today.

Both of them are good ideas. Actually at the beginning we had the search top right, don't recall why we moved it.

We are planing to do look and feel update mid of this year and I will fight for a collapsible left side menu.

Thanks for providing that feature, but I would prefer if that setting would hold for the complete session and not change when navigating to other pages.
