Notification Order Integration

Hi ALL

Regarding the order type PM01 in SAP ( Notification Order Integration). The cataloges ( damage and cause) are displayed in the order in the header tab in the bottom ( in the Damage subscreen).

Is it possible to display Object part catalog also in the front screen on IW31/IW32/IW33, along with other cataloges? As the client want to enter/see ALL the catalog entries at once inside the order, they don't want to go in to Notifiation to see the Object part catalog.

Hi Manish,

looking this requirement i feel you need to go for enhansement for the order pulling some the feild.

The users won't create the notifications in IW21...They will directly create the Maintenance orders and record the Machine History/Cost etc................

But they want the cataloges and Breakdown time etc from Notification functionality inside the order.

So we have a order type with Notification integration. Notification is created in the background and users have the cataloges/ Breakdown time ...........in the Order.

The will not be tracking the Notifications created in the background along with order.

Thanks for the valuable inputs. The client is not using the notification functionality ( IW21/IW22/IW33), but they want to have the information provided by the notifications. Breakdown information, Catalogues etc....... The users will be entering the cataloges from the order screen only.

They want to have 3 catalogues in IW32. 2 are already there as damage and causes. A third one is required to map the action taken ( Activities).

If it is possible by some enhancement or somebody has any experience in that front.

Its not possible in Standard SAP... i dont think there is any relevant User exit or enchancement for this issue...

Create a ZTCODE... customize with respect to client... Make the use of abapers...

Just to be clear, you are NOT using notifications, but you do want to use catalog functionality in the order???

If you're asking if there is any way to control what catalog data from the notification gets shown on the work order Header tab, unfortunately the answer is no. The users will have to do one extra click to take them to the notification. The theory behind this, I suppose, is that the Object Part data is probably known up front, when the notification is created, and only the Damage and Cause codes would be entered later, either from the order's Header tab or during order completion.

As of standard catalogs are updated from notification only ,hence once you enter the code group for catalog in notification it will be updated to PMIS ,if you want in order then you may think of user exit for adding additional fields ,kindly check with your technical team
